Money requests
Treat requests for transfers, gift cards, crypto, emergency loans or investment participation as a major warning sign.
Identity inconsistencies
Reverse-image concerns, changing personal details and refusal to verify can indicate impersonation.
Pressure and urgency
Scammers often manufacture deadlines so there is less time to think or ask someone else.
Sextortion
Do not pay a blackmailer. Preserve evidence, block contact where safe, report the account and contact appropriate local authorities or support resources.
Protect accounts
Use unique passwords and do not share verification codes, recovery codes or financial credentials.
